The Georgia Department of Education, as part of a U.S. Department of Education Learning Agenda pilot focused on strengthening human capital pipelines and initiatives in Georgia's public schools, is seeking to better understand what helps special education teachers remain in the profession.
This survey is intended for special education teachers who are currently employed as a special education teacher in a Georgia public school and currently provide direct services to students with disabilities in a co-teaching/collaborative, resource, or self-contained setting.
Your participation is voluntary. Your feedback will help inform future state and local strategies aimed at recruiting, supporting, and retaining highly effective special education teachers. Survey responses will be reviewed in aggregate. Individual responses will not be attributed to any participant.
Estimated completion time: 10–15 minutes.
Please respond by September 4, 2026.
