The deadline for submitting the 2026 U.S. Presidential Scholars application is November 1 at 5:00 p.m.
Georgia seniors seeking U.S. Presidential Scholars recognition are required to meet the program eligibility criteria, complete the state-level application, and secure signatures from their principal, counselor, and parent or legal guardian(s).

Broad Academic Achievement Program Eligibility Criteria
Georgia high school seniors are required to:
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident at the time of application.
- Graduate or receive a diploma between January and August 2026.
- Score exceptionally well on either the SAT of the College Board or the ACT of the American College Testing Program, based on tests taken during the three-year window that begins in August 2022 and runs through October 2025, for the recognition cycle concluding in June 2026.
Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee the student will be nominated for the national program.
